Year Opened: July 2001 Real or Original Wrestlers: Real appearances used, but for the most part the characters themselves are based on 100% originality. Why you should join us: Well for starters we recently celebrated our eighth full year of existence since originally opening way back in 2001, and anyone who joins XHF will quickly come to find out that not only are the administrators there incredibly friendly/fair all around, but that the core group of RPers themselves are top notch and the various feuds/storylines are as unique and entertaining as you could possibly imagine. Also our OOC forum along with the chat box at the bottom of the board is active with plenty of random off-topic discussion going on from time to time, so anytime you just want to shoot the breeze pretty much rather than RPing then those are the places to do it at for sure. But all in all if you're looking for a fed that's an excellent mix of both fun and quality RPing all at once then you'd be hard pressed to find a better fit than XHF I genuinely believe. So check us out and by all means feel free to sign up in the Applications forum as we're always looking to further expand our already impressive roster in the fed. I have been a member, and former administrator of this e-fed for the majority of those eight years. I have to tell you, the environment of the XHF is something that I have never found at any of the numerous e-feds I've tried to become a part of in the past... the XHF is truly one of a kind. Completely friendly. Jokers all around. It's very fair to the veteran e-wrestlers, while also a great place to be for the people that are new. If you are actively searching for a new e-fed, this is definitely the one that you would want to check out just for the casual RPer, or the more hardcore person. Very open storylines, feuds, and a lot of everything. Hope to see you there. It's a nice place to call your home away from home. Well... technically speaking, in home, or library... or wherever you go to RP, but your home on the internet!

I am going to have to agree here. This fed is amazing. It's the place where I grew up and transformed me from a mediocre RP'er to a... less mediocre one. (lol, but seriously I have improved significantly.) It has amazing people where everyone jokes around and its characters and ideas were superb. (We hold the idea that the WWE stole plenty of ideas from us.) The admins are very helpful and have constitution. If I wasn't burned out from RPing, that's the first place I'd go. I've been with this place off (but mostly on) for almost five years. This place helped me grow, gave me great competition and allowed me to grow. And for my XHF lovers reading this, I still say Kuroi (my main character) is the best wrestler never to have become XHF Champion (although you COULD argue Charlie Velez.)
Back to the point. I believe this to be the ideal fed, if only it had the members. Once a booming fed, it is now struggling and I hate seeing bad things happen to good feds.
Rock on.

Been a member of XHF since the beginning. I've been with a few feds, not one of them compared to the environment of XHF. It's just an overall great experience and has been for about 8 years now. You can't even imagine have the stuff that has happened to us over those years, being threatened by a backyard wrestling owner is up at the top. Pretty much wanted to sue us because of the company name. Really? Yes... really. The craziness doesn't just come from the outside, as packed within the depths of XHF we have some of the craziest people in e-fed history. Idea wise... Roleplay wise.... you will constantly see stuff you never ever see anywhere else. Goofy? Sure but it's all in the name of entertainment. That is what xhf brings. Just right now, that's what we lack. We need the dedicated roster, we need fresh blood to help liven the place up. If you think you can help then we will be glad to have you aboard. Let us touch you, where you like to be touched.

NOT ON ROSTER:
Before I begin I would like to say none of my comments are in any way to be taken rudely or offensively. This is an honest review of the fed.
Firstly for a board fed it isn't that bad... Although I do believe the top part is extremely cluttered. You have a list of former champs but you also have a forum which seems to have a history for a current title, the history of the other titles could possibly go here in this forum as well.
The scrolling news is a decent addition and so is the schedule although this too could possibly be minimized although I can understand not wanting to clutter the forums themselves.
As for it being a genuinely unique fed with an OOC atmosphere which is one of a kind or unlike most others, I would personally have to disagree. I have had 2 main feds in the nine years I've been active and both of them have had the exact same atmosphere as described here lol, plus the first I was in, we legitimately had some of our 'nicknames' gimmicks and SMALL storylines taken by WW(e)F (I need to find the proof but I can do so lol). But again that's personal opinion and if you've been around as long as you have and been in the same fed that long you probably will feel that way.
The only problem I have with this is the claim you've been around for eight strong years. Now, don't get me wrong I'm not calling you out on it, or saying it's a lie... I just don't see any proof of this, besides the written past title histories. Everything else points towards this fed being open from February of this year, from the OOC to the RP boards and even the RP archives as well as the Admins account which was only registered in January. And nowhere is it mentioned whether or not you guys have moved boards in those eight years (if this is the case, showing some of the old stuff might not be a bad idea?)
All in all in an honest review I'd give this fed a 3.5/5.

Yeah sorry about that though, and just for the record our other two previous boards (strictly used for archiving now) have been here and here though : http://xhfboard.yuku.com/http://p201.ezboard.com/bbraindoggydogwrestlingfederationThere were already links to each of them and several other XHF-related boards at the very bottom of our current board but just so that they're much more featured and all (which I completely agree is a great idea to showcase our history as much as possible) they've been moved to near the top of the board now.

Also, I'd also like to say that we created the concept of "Night of Champions." We have records that show its use since... 2001 I believe, maybe earlier or maybe later. Still, I believe WWE started using it in 2008, so yeah.

Which is also a play on the various southern promotions "Night of Champions" (ie SWCW, WCCW's Parade of Champions in 84), etc, etc, etc.

Hola seniors! I have been an admin at XHF for what feels like is forever, but is probably more akin to 4 or 5 years-ish. The place is a great community, very fun, very competitive, very hilarious! (I could possibly be biased, not sure.) Anywho, at XHF, we let just about anything fly as long as its awesome. (Once in awhile if its not if people are really passionate about it.) We have some limits, but there bendable. We've had many insane matches and gimmicks. It's a rocking place. But I will agree our OOC isn't the be all end all best OOC ever. It's an OOC for people who want to talk about wrestling and other wacky crazy fun stuff. We have our old boards still around so you can check out our old history, it's good times. It's 99% original wrestlers but we allow people to act as real wrestlers if they want, as long as there willing to go crazy with it. My main guy started as a real wrestler because I didn't know what to do when I started since this was my first e-fed, but I picked a guy that hasn't been in the lime light for years and really gone off and made him my own and now it's a character far removed from the real life one, so there is indeed room to grow and move. Plus I've since created many original wrestlers as well. But I'd have to say our number one selling point is freedom. We don't have RP limits, we don't really control the major storylines (unless it deals with our biggest PPV of the year), and people are able to make challenges to whoever they want whenever they want and the talent can figure out when things go down. Also segments are always welcome for shows as well.

Guten tag, gentlemen and ladies! As many others in this thread, I've been an XHF member for quite awhile. Joined in October of 2004, and despite sometimes joining other e-feds, the XHF has always been closest to my heart. Nothing against any of the other places I've been, but the OOC community is just outstanding. Everyone tries to get to know everyone, and everybody loves everybody. Of course, it hasn't always been that way, but for quite some time now I think we've had a legitimate "utopia" type of thing going on, as far as OOC goes. The main goal of the fed is to have fun, just like any other. Thing is, no other place I've been involved with have been NEARLY as much fun as the XHF. As far as storylines and gimmicks go, the sky is the limit. We literally bring new meaning to the word "Xtreme". For example, I was part of a main event a couple years ago in which seven men wrestled on top of a giant cake, and it was the main event for the World Title! Things like that don't happen often, as our titles are treated with great care and prestige. Normally you might see main event calibre storylines and angles possess a more serious vibe, but we also mix it up with wacky comedy, and all sorts of different forms of humor. I take pride in being one of the graphic guys around the fed. I didn't do them this month, but I've done them in the past. Example of my work: Right now, obviously, we're looking for new members. The XHF has always run strong, and when we haven't we've closed, then reopened at opportune moments. You get a lot of room to work with upon joining, as Kanyon pointed out. There are rules, just like everywhere else, but most of us are carefree enough to let certain things slide when they're intended for good fun and non-threatening or offensive purposes. We don't like people getting bent out of shape about edgy things (I recall one member a few years ago getting terribly upset about me including a dead puppy in an RP, something I like to laugh about now), so while it isn't a very "strict" environment, we definitely try to make it decent.... decent enough for our tastes, at least. Oh, and that dead puppy thing? Not a recurring thing at all, sick little things like that have died out for the most part, replaced with shocking but hysterical slapstick humor and edgy but mature, substantial, angles and roleplays. Why not join up, and give it a shot? I've seen things on our board and in character before, that have had me crying from laughter. We've got a lot of imaginative folks around here to thank for that sort of stuff. New members will unquestionably be welcomed and brought in as part of the "family" right away, because it's not hard at all to fit in, since we're all so different in terms of characters and personalities.

I have been efeding for almost 2 years now. There is one place I call home because I have been there almost 2 years. I have been on other efeds which ends up closing their doors. I was asked to give XHF a try by Mongo The Destroyer, of course the owner. Now I know that the other owners of the feds I used to be at will probably see this. But XHF is still alive and kicking. I have been in XHF approx 3 months now, and I enjoyed being there. The Admins. is great. Of course I know most of them from other feds.
I invite you to take a look at XHF. The only thing we ask when you give XHF a shot.....take it to the XTREME

Just an update on our current situation: We have somewhere between 15-20 active members! But we never close our doors to anyone.

In addition, we've just updated our monthly board layout, and according to the feedback we've been getting from members, it's one of our best yet! Of course, I'm bragging a bit here, since I did the GFX for it, but please, check it out for yourself! See the banners in mine and frozenfenix's signatures, they are click-able and the links will take you to the main XHF site. Looking for any kind of feedback what so ever!
EDIT: Okay, so, see the link provided in frozenfenix's signature! Apparently, I have two accounts here and didn't realize it, LOL.
