I was only with TFWF for a few months but what I saw while I was there is just how it is now, and that is why it has been so successful, and why after such a long time it is still one of the top e-feds around.  And I think personally that's a tribute to Ian and the dedication of his staff over the past 12+ years.

I understand that this reply is going to not be popular but feel that criticism is needed - E-fed seeker beware.

In July, I was looking for an e-fed and I tried signing up for the TFWF. They said that I signed up and walked out and flaked. I do not remember this and swear that this never happened... not to the best of my recollection and I never flake if I can damn well help it. Because of this, instead of giving me a chance, they look at me as a liability and believe that I'm going to cause problems and flake [again.] Therefore, they turned me away.

As I mentioned in my reply to this, I do not wish Ian and his fed the worst and I hope that they be successful. HOWEVER, on the other hand, for those that are looking for an e-fed and use the Kut Database as a resource, I hope that they read my story and use it in consideration when looking to make a decision for which e-fed to look to as home.

I'm not looking for this to cause an argument or a riot or whatever. I'm simply citing my experience in a place that chose not to accept me.  This is my review for TFWF.

If you are a hardcore, or even serious RPer who wants to RP against some of the best talent in one of the best feds in the history of feds, then you need to join TFWF.

Ian is a friend of mine, I'll admit, but...

He's the only guy I know who's run a fed longer than me.  TFWF has been around since 1998 running under the SAME Fed-head the whole time and has never had a late show.  Never.  Not even once.

I will warn you though.  If you are someone who flakes, or doesn't take this stuff seriously, TFWF is NOT for you.  Ian doesn't mess around with that snork.

That said, I've never been an overt fan of the main page layout, but it's simple and works.  Results are good, there's a large active roster, and OOC is there as well.  TFWF has won every award you can find on any site it's been apart of with no signs of ever slowing down.

I CANNOT say enough good things about this fed, it's staff, or it's roster.
