Recruiter Notes: Our shows run every eight days with the exception of Saturdays and Sundays.  On days when our shows would fall on a Saturday the show is shifted to the next Monday (10 days away) and takes place as a pay per view.  We require one roleplay per show with a maximum of five.  Matches are decided based on the single best roleplay.  Relevancy and quality outweigh length and wordiness.
Why you should join us: We are a growing fed of competitive roleplayers.  I give honest feedback on each roleplay.  Our scheduling allows you to be as active as you like just so long as you participate with a contribution each week.  I am not an active competitor in the fed so I am not biased toward myself or toward any allies.  I call it like I see it and I don't hide it from anyone.

We've recently added our second tier title to the mix and while our current roster is only at two thirds capacity the people we do have in the roster have remained active and dedicated to the fed.  Another thing I hadn't mentioned before is that I do a simple podcast overview of the recent show and the upcoming show every week.  In the past we were a feeder fed for one of the biggest feds in the gfedwrestling.com network.  After things didn't work out from that angle I took over and turned it into it's own fed.  Our fed used to carry the call letters of said bigger fed and we continued to do so after that fed shut down.  Since then we have removed the call letters and redesigned.  Though we still haven't reached our full potential yet we've had a decent amount of success over the 5 months I've been running the show.  The way our environment is setup it makes it easy for any skill level to compete as I tend to book people against people who are similar in talent level.  Also because I give detailed feedback on every roleplay ever posted it is a great place for newer people to come and learn some skills that may help them.  Since you aren't likely to read a massive blurb let me just give you the key points.

- 1 RP every 8 days (this is a minimum and the single best rp you post will be the determining factor in your match)
- Detailed feedback is given for every roleplay (which allows you to improve on your work by reposting with changes)
- Two prestigious titles (keeps things interesting, IMO too many titles is boring)
- Mixed talent pool (allows me to pair people of similar skill levels, also helps for improving newer writers)
- Weekly recap and preview in the form of a podcast (mp3)
- Inactive talent gets the boot after two weeks (unless they've given some sort of notice as to why they are inactive)
- Hand written matches (currently only for big matches)

I've recently made several updates to the fed including adding pages for

- Genesis History
- Updates to the In Character Staff page
- Power 5 Rankings

I plan on updating the In Character Staff page a bit more by adding short biographies of each of the staff members.  Also I intend to add a Headquarters page with details on our home office.

I'd love for someone to give feedback on my fed and suggestions if possible.  I wouldn't mind doing the same for anyone willing to do it for me.  If you are interested in working something out send me a pm with the link to your fed's thread and I'll see what I can do.

We're gearing up for our third pay per view and I've been keeping busy with site updates.  I recently added a "Characters Wanted" page which features 32 wrestlers with our custom poser background as well as short biographies.  This way anyone interested in joining the fed can look here first to get an idea for a character and make it their own.  I also added a Headquarters page which has images of our company headquarters in Burlington, Massachusetts and both in and out of character staff.

Genesis was recently ranked number three among the efeds in the gfedwrestling community for the month of June by the Icemann Ranking Service.  In the individual wrestler rankings roughkut members Exile and 8BALL made the top 30 with Exile ranking third overall.

Since the last update to this post we have added a television title which is defended weekly and we are now adding a women's division.

Genesis has now switched to weekly shows on Fridays rather than the 8 day rotating schedule.  I found that it wasn't of a real benefit to have this and if anything it confused people more than it helped.

Anywho, to add some value to the fed and to keep myself honest in my picks I've created my own personal roleplay rubric which I use to grade roleplays.  I've shared this on the Genesis website.  This way roster members should know exactly what they need to do to succeed in my fed and this coupled with the detailed feedback should help people at any stage in the game.
