From what I’ve read (loldirtsheets), Orton wasn’t the only one involved in Kennedy. Reportedly, there were two (an ambiguous description, but I’m sure you can draw your own conclusions) “Former World champions who had held the belt multiple times”, who went to MacMahon after the show and basically shat on Kennedy for his in-ring skills and whatever else. I’m guessing it was Batista and Flair.

Don’t ask me for a source, I can’t be assed to look in my browser history for that kind of thing, I’ve got porn to download.
