Detroit Lions 0-16!
The chants from the jaded, cynical fans said it all.
Even if this game weren’t played in Green Bay‘s hometown, I don’t think it would be any different.
We WANTED the Lions to lose every single game this season. It was inevitable. It was also the only way the Lions would get any attention or ever be in the history books.
The news sites say it can only go up from here. I beg to differ. The Lions could lose the next 16 games too, permanently sealing their spot in history.
The WORST team in history, in a city that has been known for their superior sports for a long time.
This is awesome.

Um, are not the DETROIT Red Wings the Stanley cup champs? Are not the Pistons a consistent finals team and recent champs?
How bout the Shock? They don’t count either, I suppose.
How bout the Tigers making it to the finals?
This doesn’t count as superior sports?
Every other major team in Detroit are champs within the last couple of years, but the Lions.
